Mr. Rudy Sablon proudly serves on the Board of Director for the Heavy Legacy Foundation. He also serves as Chief Operating Officer of The Motivational Edge; a Florida non-profit youth development organization that impacts the lives of thousands of foster youth, homeless youth and incarcerated youth with therapeutic arts, mentoring and life-skill initiatives. Rudy has over 15 years of successful experience providing fiscal, strategic and operations leadership in uniquely challenging situations. Mr. Sablon has excelled in multiple industry backgrounds but found his niche as an educational consultant with extensive operational and programmatic experience. Rudy spearheaded a national program that spanned across 8 states, in 25 cities with over 100 employees and helped nearly 10,000 youth. He has effectively overseen federally funded & regulated programs with transparency and fidelity.
Mr. Sablon has been a presenter for the Department of Children & Families Annual Child Protection Summit since 2014. Rudy was also a presenter for the Department of Juvenile Justice Child Dependency Conference in 2016. In 2016, Mr. Sablon was designated as an Adjunct Professor for Columbia University’s School of Social Work and recognized with a Community Service Award by Hillsborough County Children Services. Among his other affiliations, Rudy currently serves on the Neighborhood Advisory Board for Chapman Partnership for the Homeless; as a Grant Panelist for Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs; and as an Executive Legislative Advisory Board member for the Florida Juvenile Justice Association. Due in part to Mr. Sablon’s selfless dedication to his community, in early 2017 he was appointed to the City Council Board of the Miami Sports & Exhibition Authority.
